How would Manny Pacquiao of 2009-2010 who crushed Hatton,Cotto,Clottey and Margarito do against these legends
all these fights are at welterweight

    vs Hearns (1981)
    vs Chavez(1990)
    vs Pernell Whitaker(1993)
    vs Felix Trinidad(1999)

Hearns is the worst matchup possible of anyone in history.

Speed and movement in a guy who actually boxed SRL's ears off for 13 Rounds, and he has a killer right hand.

His best chance out of these is Chavez.

Hearns stops manny inside 10 rounds

chavez would be taylor made stylistically for pacquiao but then again chavez had a certified iron chin... would be a tossup prime for prime

pernell whitaker would make pacquiao look stupid at times like he did with most aggressive fighters

i think pacquiao stops trinidad to be honest

Pacman would get knocked out by Thomas. No doubt in my mind, that's the only way that fight would end. Manny would have to be on his tippy-toes to even be able to connect a shot at Hearn's face. The height and reach discrepancy is staggering, and the power Hearns had at WW was almost superhuman. Devastating KO for Tommy.

Whitaker would win a wide or split decision against Manny. I think what would help him win that fight would be his punch output and obviously his defensive mastery. I could see him outlanding Manny on compubox stats and make him look foolish for good portions of their fight.

Julio Chavez was arguably the greatest Junior weltwerweight in history that loved to get in brawls. I'd call this a 50/50 fight, I think Pacman would have the higher punch output and handspeed obviously, but in the pocket, I could see Chavez landing the more damaging blows, and even KO Pacman with a body shot. That would be a helluva war and a pick 'em fight for me.

I'd favor Pacman over Tito probably 65/35 with trinidad's left hook being the neutralizer in this all. If he nailed Pacman flush with that shot, especially early on while he still had a good amount of stamina/energy, I could see him KO'ing Pacman. But Pacman's superior footspeed, handspeed and combination punching I think would be too much for Tito and it would end in a late stoppage/ Wide UD for Pacman.

    Hearns late stoppage over Pacquiao.
Pacquiao decisions Chavez in an absolute war
Whitaker evades Packy's attacks and scores a fair decision
Pacquiao finishes Tito late, busts him up. Sorry. :think

Come on man, you people don't know **** about boxing. You're telling me Felix Trinidad, one of the greatest WW's of his generation as well as the hardest hitting is gonna lose to midget Pacquaio? Based on ****ing what? Pacquaio is no Hopkins or DLH. Pacquaio is tailor made for his style. I can't see any outcome besides a Trinidad ko.

Well, Chavez was never a welterweight, so I'd have to give Pac an edge there, although I think it would be very competitive because of the styles clash.

Don't think Pacquiao has a chance against the other 3. Hearns stops him inside 3 rounds in a horrible mismatch, Pea wins an easy decision and Tito stops him in the mid-rounds.

"midget Pacquaio"...lol you're talking about the man who rammed through the near 6 footer Margarito..despite being outweighed by 17 lbs.

Tito was naturally a much larger man, I mean the guy ended up going up in weight and fighting in several divisions (i.e. the MW tourney in early 2000's, his fight against RJJ at light heavy in his failed comeback, etc.)

But that 09 version of Manny was really weird to watch. It all started from the moment he destroyed that paper LW champ in david Diaz, he went on a torrid stretch of brutally KO'ing the much naturally larger opponents.

I could see Tito easily KO'ing Pacman with one of his signature left hooks, but Pacman has the clear advantage in handspeed, footspeed, and being able to put together combination punching. For a little guy, he had some pretty devastating power as he kept going up in Weight classes. I'd honestly have to favor Pacman if they fought at WW, I don't know if tito would've been able to catch up to him and nail him with something flush.

Yeah, a Margarito after a year layoff at a 150 pound catch weight who was basically there to take a beating and who actually hurt Pac. You seriously comparing concrete hands Margarito to Trinidad? Hahahaha..

and how was pacquaio hurt..he won freakin 11 rounds to 1..and it looked like somebody drove a tractor on Margarito's face
