Yeah, I was actually shocked with how fast he looked on those pads. It's just unnatural to see a big guy like him move in such a way.

HAHAHA it's easy to look fast when you are just flailing your arms :nut. zero power, zero technique. also.. he wont be very speedy when hes been deposited face first on the canvas

Furry is definitely NOT 6'9....its no more than 2" on Wlad if that. And Wlad is 6'5 to Vitali's 6'6. All those heights of fighters are nearly ALWAYS exaggerated.

He's looking good, in good shape and good form. But he's got a mountain in climb in Wlad, but you never know Wlad is at that stage where he could suddenly be over the hill and be ready to be taken. I doubt it will happene but Tyson has given himself the best chance for a big upset by putting in the hard work. But I still expect him to get KO'ed.

It's not so much his handspeed, it's just his speed and movement overall, usually guys that size (at least in the boxing ring) tend to be very sluggish, even Wlad who I think is a pretty quick guy for his size has some of that sluggishness, Fury doesn't, at all.

He's 100% focusing on speed here. He's winging those arms from the floor :rofl You won't see him fast like that in the fight. In fact, in the fight I expect wlad's jab & footwork to outspeed fury's by quite a significant margin!

I don't know why I just feel this could be a Hagler Hearns fight.

Tyson Fury is the most quick and skilled hw 6'9 or over of all time. Fury has the handspeed and combo ability of a supermiddle to be honest

Yeah, it won Joe Calzaghe a lot of his fights though.
Hate to say it, even Muhammad Ali won several fights slapping with fast handed arm punches.

Exactly. There's zero technique in those shoulder punches. Absolutely no snap.

They are arm punches with no power in them, but every hater would still need to accept that for a big man that he is he has natural speed in both arms and legs. I don't think that he will be able to win against Wladimir without showing power (that he does not have), but he absolutely has speed for a big man.
