I've never heard of this opponent? Who is he? I'd give him more credit for fighting Beyer again. Also, Ottkes fight with DM did not happen, even that option would be better than this...

Many people care about this "punk" u racist rat. In my oppinion he has one of the best 1, 2 combos in the sport today. Has heart and is doing as Boom Boom said, getting back into the rythm after a loss, as well as makin a bit of dosh.

Yes definately low risk fights seems to be the order of the day here. Which fighters are fighting worse competition is debateable depending on how you look at it, but I would have said Kessler v Sartison and Pavlik v Lockett are established World Class fighters meeting unproven fighters with little or no wins over meaningful opposition and Hatton v Lazcano is an established name coming back from a loss with a confidence building fight against a former contender clearly on the slide. One thing is for certain Pavlik, Kessler and Hatton should all be victorious and hopefully move on to more meaningful fights against stronger and more established competition. I have no problem with each of the fighters meeting these opponents so long as they step up to the plate in their next fights against top proven contenders. Kessler should fight Taylor, Miranda or Bute soon, I do not mind if he rematches with Mundine but he should defend one of the aforementioned three fighters soon after. Hatton's next two are already set so at least we will see him in with Malignaggi after beating up Lazcano, I do not see the point of another Mayweather fight as it will only end in another defeat for Hatton the only motivation there will be money and of course Hatton's fans wil probably go and see him get beat up again. Pavlik should definately be fighting Abraham soon or a rematch with Miranda if he upsets Abraham in June.

Kessler is really intent on getting a title by fighting a man he has already beaten once. It's hard for me to respect him or his team right now.

Exactly. Kessler might be trying to re-establish his confidence after his first loss. Nothing wrong with going back to basics in this case.

Come on, it is for a title. Everybody except Miranda is avoiding Kessler. With a title, he will be in the driver seat. Taylor, Bute, why not Pavlik will be more interested if a belt is on the line.

I see only three possible ways to defend Kessler's move:

    1) Palle had a vision: Sartison is better than most think and in case of a
victory will look good on Kessler's resume down the line???

    2) His hand surgery was far more serious than known by the public???

    3) The having-a-belt-issue turns out to be a smart move negotiation wise,
as revealed by Team Palles moves in the coming six months.

Otherwise the choice of opponent sucks and looks like a dark spot on Kessler's otherwise fine resume.
