Huge posers. They cling on to a boring winner because it's their nationality, their race, etc., and then because he's boring, go full on "sweet science" mode to tell everybody they DKSAB because they don't like their boring winner. I blame this mostly on Mayweather. Boring fighter who was a winner therefore they clung to him.

Wlad was also a boring fighter who had some bad performances, like the Povetkin fight, which simply was not boxing. His fans don't really go around telling everyone the DKSAB cause they don't like him though.

Well, let's be real here. A win over 2014 Hopkins is worth as much as a win over 2000 Chavez which equals exactly jack ****. The Judah win is worth as much as Pascal, and his wins over Mayweather, Bramble, or Laporte would be worth the other win. Since Kovalev didn't actually get the nod against Ward, until he does, Tszyu is decisively in the lead. Also, Tszyu won 14 title fights. Kovalev's record stands at 9.

I am not going to read through this entire topic. but here's my take on it.

A lot of the modern fans of the "Sweet science" don't fully understand what the sweet science actually is. Having a sound defense is a part of it, but it is also about making your opponent pay for missing you. You do damage, make them miss (or at the very least don't let them land cleanly), counter them, and put yourself in a position to do it again, and repeat. The best example of this in the history of the sport is apparently Joe Louis. The sweet science isn't avoiding your opponent and landing little weak punches or not countering at all. This is the hurt business. You don't even need tons of power to hurt someone as you can get the job done through attrition using the sweet science.

Mayweather and Bramble were pretty much done at that point. Cleverly and Chilemba are equal to those two versions.

I'm glad you liked the Meme I made though.:D

Okay, lets just ignore the amount of clinches and amount of time he spends on his bike. Let's just pretend he dominated the fight by connanimous decision and conning people of their money.

You can box, run, and clinch to a UD victory even if the fight was close it's connanimous decision. The slick fighter wins, the one running and clinching all dayum night. But Void fans would go around making shyt up.Like Mr Void destroyed him, destroyed him to a pulp, he beat that boy up. When it didn't happened. It's hilarious actually.

Void has won the fight even before the fight has begun. Some are obviously questionable decisions. Connanimous decisions are killing the sports and most of his fights are won on the score cards. Judges obviously favor him and his kin like WARD.

To Mr Andre Ward actually he didn't put me to sleep this time versus Kovalev, which is a miracle. So yes these boxers once in a while are in good fights. But more than not their styles will bore people to death. Because they hate contact and are extremely defensive by nature.

I'll give you that. Mayweather, Bramble, and Laporte had seen better days. But Pascal hasn't looked quite fresh his last two outings either. That first Kovalev fight might have been his last hurrah.

Apropos of Juan Laporte, you ever take a look at his record? The opposition level is sick. Salvador Sanchez, Eusebio Pedroza, Wilfredo Gomez, Barry McGuigan, Julio Cesar Chavez, Azumah Nelson, Kostya Tszyu. Just think, if he'd won all of those he'd be in that Mayweather/Pacquiao country. Of course, he didn't win any of them, but that just goes to show that the fights are out there for anyone to be great at any time if they are just willing to step up.

I mean, it's instructive. You look at these also ran guys, these footnotes in history, and they've faced more elite opponents than the champs. Holman Williams: Cocoa Kid, Charley Burley, Bob Satterfield, Archie Moore, Jake LaMotta, Eddie Booker, and Marcel Cerdan. Come on.

Orlando Salido: Juan Manuel Marquez, Robert Guerrero, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Juan Manuel Lopez, Mikey Garcia, Vasyl Lomachenko.

    But I digress.

If Amir Khan had been trained to be a runner he could be undefeated still. His speed and reflexes are second to none, but he's a come forward fighter.

Say what you want about the deluded bloke, but I'd rather watch a Khan fight that Floyd, Ward, Rigo, any day of the week!

Loma is mental though. He uses all the sweet science skills he has to be a completely offensive fighter. Now THATS boxing people.
