Because its pretty applicable this week, a whole lotta people acting like snobs, in spite of the fact that deep down, they know the score, Ward lost to Kovalev and they don't want to admit it to themselves.

They have no leg to stand on, yet they continually try in vain to whip out that snobby YDKSAB cliché as a knee jerk defense mechanism.

No its not, its stating a fact, many Boxing fans are elitist snobs or at the very least pretend to be.

This was bumped to get a negative reaction out of people. It should have stayed buried.

God forbid, the site has been awash in obnoxious fake know it alls for the last 4 days, what's wrong with a different perspective.

Maybe because its extra biting coming from someone who actually knows **** about boxing.

Same can apply to Boxing as applied to Trump-Clinton election.

The fight was close. FACT. this was bumped to get a negative reaction.FACT
There's a lot of boxing fans across the globe who felt Ward pulled it off. What makes your opinion right, and everyone else's opinion Wrong? That's sour grapes.

It was a close decision that didn't go the same way as your scorecard apparently. I adore both fighters and starting each round from scratch I ended up with 114-113 Ward. I'd of been fine with the judges awarding the fight to Kov based on some of the points you mentioned. I'm glad you agree Salido took Lomachenko to school.

The fight was close FACT, and Ward didn't do enough in most peoples eyes who don't proclaim themselves a "lover of the sweet science".

Roy Jones Jr. is a fighter and a friend of Ward, he thought Kovalev won, Max is a shameless wannabe snob who dickrides Rigo and Ward every chance he gets, and he stretched credibility to the breaking point to push his agenda.

The fact is its not a stretch to see Kovalev taking the fight on points in most peoples estimation, to score it for Ward you literally have to stretch reality to the breaking point to find that many close rounds to give to Ward.

Max Kellerman is the walking definition of who this thread is about.

Dude you want to bring up Roy, but what about Malignaggi who called it for Ward? Are we going to go that route and slam Paulie because he doesn't share your opinion?

At the end of the day with a fight this close you're going to get different scorecards across the board. These fights are particularly hard to score, and it could have gone both ways depending on who you felt looked better. The guy who missed a lot down the stretch, or the guy who was more accurate. If this was unanimous across the board where everyone and their mama's scored the fight for Kovalev and the decision was on the same level of Chavez-Whitaker, then I'd agree.

This fight was controversial on the same level as Hagler-Leonard was, again that was a close fight that could have gone either way too, same as this one. And no comment on Kellerman.

Malignaggi is a well known Mayweather dickrider who usually bashes aggressive fighters, his opinion is biased as hell, and no these fights aren't particularly hard to score, they're hard to score if your mission is to score it for Ward, but relatively easy if you're watching the actual match.

This BS about Ward dominated the last 6, where did that come from Kovalev won the 10th arguably won the 12th and the rest were close to 50/50 Ward did better but didn't dominate in any but 1.
