Im An Average Height Fighter 5'9 132lbs. I Use Philly Shell Defense Right Now And Im Quite Good At It, But It Gets Hard To Spin My Opponent When Im In The Corner Or The Ropes. What Defense Do You Use & What's Your Defensive Flaws?

My defensive style is both hands at shoulder hight. Flaw of that is I get hit a bunch hahaha. Defense has never been my strentgh, I just walk through punches.

Full guard 99% of the time, occasionally I switch to half guard but not often. I'm relatively sound defensively although sometimes I forget to move my head, my offensive flaw is not using the right hand enough.

I like to change my guard all the time. I like to move my fight and box so i can get away with it and i do like to shoulder roll in close. When i change my gaurd its to get my opponent thinkin. I make sure i have an answer for something hes gonna do. I might drop my left and parry with my right and walk the guy on to a left hook and move awy. It just depends. Against southpaws i tend to keep my right hand up and paw out my left a bit to take awy his jab.

Assuming you are an orthodox fighter...tuck your left shoulder into his chest, get in real tight, get his left elbow with your right glove and turn him. Smother him and turn him.
Step across his left foot with your left foot as you slip or parry outside his left hand. Pivot on your left foot...you are now behind his left shoulder.
