    Pernell Whitaker and James Toney come to mind.

    Roberto Duran, Mike Tyson, James Toney, Willie Pep. Whitaker, Mayweather, Locche, Lara, and Rigondeaux are so all about defense that their offensive game suffers; which hurts their value as entertainers. This is boxing, not tag, and you have to do damage to your opponent.

    lomachenko definitely the most entertaining fighter that is the most defensive.

    he avoids punches while still being in punching distance. his use of angles and footwork is a beauty to watch.
