And his cornerman had a broken brain, during AND after the fight.


Kudos to Kat for his good sportsmanship in the post-fight interview.

(His cornerman should be fed to a pack of ravenous, rabid, man-eating kangaroos).

 

If by hanging with him you mean making it to the final bell I'd agree. It wasn't anything remotely close to a close fight.

 

Considering how well he fought against Casamayor I'd say he's top 10. :huh

Wow. Maybe that was the reason why he didn't go crazy as usaul. Maybe they should fight again?

 

Most people on this forum are too hard on poor Kats...he was facing probably the best lightweight fighter in the world. I know he lost a split decision to the Galaxy Warrior, but he was winning that fight before the injury to his eye. I have no doubt that Juan Diaz would prevail if they ever fought again. Unfortunately, that will probably never happen because of the fallout between Don King and Willie Savanaugh.

Kats deserves to be ranked in the top five...remember, he was on the verge of winning that fight against Casa. He got careless. The sign of an inexperienced fighter...that's all!!

 

**** being dismissive, if the rumours are true and he did have a broken hand in the third round, that made a difference. Anybody saying otherwise is completely delusional. You ever had a broken hand?
