Just natural strength. It's not complicated. Some guys are just naturally stronger than other guys.

Example, Erik Morales power comes from his proper technique in delivering his shots. As opposed to someone like Margo who lacks the technique but makes up for it with Raw Power. One wouldn't think by looking a morales that his thin frame could produce so many KO's, but he's able to do so by timing his shots right and using the technique that distributes power from his hips to his fists.

Take Mayorga as a great example of raw power. no techniques needed to KO.

It doesn't mean anything, it's just a figure of speech and a cliche at that.

Raw power is simply the ability to alter a fight outcome on the strength of one punch. Julian Jackson springs to mind.

'raw strength' is mainly used to describe a boxer who can walk through punches, thats why many people say margo has raw strength.

'raw power' is just there to describe someone who can punch hard so someone like edison miranda.

'raw strength'= Overall physical strenth to bully and push around the opponent in close quarters...typically not big punchers but are heavy handed in the sense that their shots are slow but thudding...an example would be Sakio Bika...tough mofo that is very strong physically...another example would be George Foreman...the guy was a bear

'raw power' is natural punching power...no matter what punch a guy with true raw power throws, it will do damage....perfect example would be Cotto...or Wlad

george foreman is an example of both...

raw strength - his ability to literally bench press 200lb men away from him with ease despite the fact he would never win a body building contest.

raw punching power - the fact that a glancing girl punch with no form from foreman could be potentially as devastating as one of tyson's punches that is thrown with full leverage, lightning speed, and lands flush. the very definition of a "heavy-handed" fighter.

    Power is explosive strength.

An athlete with a higher ratio of type 2 to type 1 muscle fibers has more natural strength.

Add size into the equation and you have a simple answer.
