Hey forum first post around here. Well first of all im 15 and i train usually 8-10 times a week which is pretty good. Technique wise im doing great and also strength wise. The problem kicks in here, i am somehow able intense without stopping like diamond pushups for a very long time and i dont rly find it a problem, i can do pullups and not find it a problem but recently a coach from TKO gym come over to our island and gave a couple of pro sessions and included me in it. I did everything as he said excellently then i did 2 rounds of pads.. after the first 2 mins of the first round i felt like falling.. i spoke to him about it and he said that i do train alot but im not 'Fit'.. can anyone give me any advice on how i can improve my endurance, im willing to do any type of exercises except altitude training since we go no mountains around here .. Thanks :bbb
Someone who doesnt have a gut hangin down or in other words a high bodyfat %. Kimbo is somone who is tremendously fit for example. The guy has a tremendous phsique.
I find shadowboxing 3-5 minutes a round a good start. That definitely gets your body fit as it gets used to working hard for 3-5 straight minutes. So, when you actually get in the ring to spar or work pads your body is used to it.
Whether you like the guy or not you gotta admitt that Kimbo is in awesome shape!!! WTF! I am not even talking about his boxing.
Stairs and sprint runs helped me add more rounds of pads and sparring. Also I had to learn not to tense up when I spar and hit pads.
being nervous can lead to more fatigue due to increased stress levels, sparring is different to working out, so it is possible for you to have simply been too nervous, you need to relax a bit more and make sure you don't tense up.
the question here is how far is his dealers house? I agree kimbo isn't the fittest you don't need to look the part to be fit, couple of examples being joe calzaghe, juan diaz
Sounds simple but alot of people actually forget to breathe when they Spar, either down to nerves or excitement or whatever, obviously you need oxygen for your muscles to be at full strength, so focus on keeping a calm regular breathing patern.
