A better angle might be to point out some other top rated current fighters who have actually taken on consecutive mandatory's and moved up/down in weight to fight "The Man" at that division ect. It just seems to me that people are having a go at Froch for things very few of the big names actually do.
I dont think hes ducking anyone James Degale is in the same position Groves was, only difference is that Froch wants to make his money and get out of the sport which in all fairness hes earned by fighting the best back to back with the exception of Yusaf Mack Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham, Johnson, Ward, Bute, (Mack) Kessler, Groves twice . . . . . He wanted to fight Chavez because of his fanbase and the low tax in vegas (or no tax, not too sure) Degale is just another challenger Ward cant sell tickets for **** and is inactive Hopkins as great as he is would be 50 and coming down in weight GGG is still a freaking middleweight, when he fights at SMW then you can say Froch is ducking him You cant blame a guy for wanting to cash out, especially when hes given so much to the sport over the years, every fight with the exception of Ward/Dirrell has been exciting to watch and despite taking losses he hung in there. I suppose he could just have retired like Naz after losing to Kessler but he came back won the title, lost it again then won it back and unified. All this coming from someone who prior to Pascal couldnt stand him
