He got tagged no one is denying that but he was not nearly tko'd. Have you seen any of Lee's other fights? He is well able to take a punch, he's never been down not even in the Vera fight. Stop talking out of your ass.

 

Have you seen the fight? he wasn't nearly stopped, he was caught by a few and under pressure but a long way from being stopped. Up until then he did a much better job than Barker did.

 

Vera didn't take him out fool, he was stopped on his feet and threw the last punch. To answer your question, "Am I missing something?", yes you are quite clearly missing something pal.

Lee had been winning the fight. He was in trouble and under pressure from Vera, but he was fighting back the whole time. the stoppage was a little quick for me.

 

no. Vera landed a massive punch and the ref could see it best in his eyes. it was a good stoppage. If it had carried on Lee would have sufferd serious damage as he wasnt going down. You gotta give him that the guy is a warrior.

 

Just watched the fight again for the first time since it aired, I did think it was a robbery at first but on watching it again Barker done enough to win the first 7 rounds (some were close though), the last 5 rounds were pretty ropey for him where he was doing a lot of running but all in all he did deserve the victory.

 

i was there and scored it 8-4 to Barker. Had the same when I got home. To be fair to him he took the fight at 3 weeks notice and the frenchman had a fight lined up already.

Barker had 2500 plus there and he lets the crowd get to him.
