Chunky would exploit GGGs lack of speed and leaky D. DeGale too quick, too slick and possessing an iron chin. He sucks up littles punches like a light afternoon snack and boxes his head off for as many rounds as the fight lasts
DeGale would be one of the biggest test for GGG out there, however when DeGale has his usual drop in work rate around the third/fourth round he will just be a sitting duck for the rest of the fight. Can you imagine DeGale having his customary mid-round breaks on the ropes while GGG is teeing off on him, and then DeGale surviving? Its going to be tough for him even against Abraham let alone GGG.
Degale gets outboxed with ease, he gasses mid fight and is stopped with a body shot. He may even be knocked out cold with a counter from GGG when winging one of his wild shots.
This is correct, in fact he couldn't keep half a dozen fighters off him. One of his biggest flaws is he controls the distance very poorly.
I see your point but DeGale won't be looking for the early KO like he was against Bute or Dirrell, he'll fight at a very measured pace. His speed and slickness gives Gennady fits, school will be in session.
Degale just went life and death with a guy GGG one punch KO'd with ease over ten years ago. [yt]XyEI9isEu_8[/yt]
golovkin has a better jab and his punch selection is better so how is degale the better boxer lol. people think gigi can't box when he's actually the best boxer in the world.
Fun fight to watch because so many UK fans would be rooting Degale... But honestly, Degale has no chance what so ever. He isn´t better skilled or fast enough. He has chin but not the footwork. And lets not even talk about his poor stamina..
degale gets knocked out GGG would even be stronger if he moves up that's the scary thing Rubio who got knocked out in 2 rounds by GGG went up to 168 and fought a competative fight with dirrel murray he got battered and stopped by GGG went up to 168 and was robbed against abaraham GGG has heavyweights in awe of his power forget about 168 So many people inside the pro ring and sparring partners speak of his power some heavyweights say he hits harder then some heavyweights
Groves fight is quite a good indicator. I like Groves and think he beat Degale but anyone should see that Groves is two steps below Golovkin class.
Think he probably has the speed and precision to pose him problems, but I think DeGale gets hit too easily too often. Might well be that he'd box smarter in a GGG fight, but I'm not so sure. Would be one of the best fights that could be made right now though.
