I would imagine he will try and get the winners of the big fights from saturday, and bellew in with clev. Gavin vs Jennings is an easy British title eliminator to make. thats 4 good fights already.

I think a draw was a fair result. Glad Groves got the W though!

I would pay 15 Quid for Mayweather-Ortiz, Providing it has a strong undercard. Couldn't really care less about Frank's show.

******s but thin on stars at the moment. Any PPVs are either going to have to have pretty deep cards, decent American legs or have exceptional opponents for the UK fighters. Or all 3.

I scored it a draw but my single drawn round would have been Groves if it was anyones.

It's the first time in quite some time Wárren's stable looks weak from a financial/promotional view point. No Calzaghe, Hatton, Khan. No one guy who can do a ppv alone.

What are people complaining about it being a PPV for?

Easy to see how this pans out......

    Bellew-Cleverly
    Gavin-Jennings/Watson/Purdy
    DeGale for Euro
Murray/Mitchell winner vs a world ranker

    Cue to America :good

He better be very careful which world ranker he picks for the winner of Murray-Mitchell.

Funny how it was said that if a fighter is coming off a loss they couldnt fight for the EBU belt.

Still good move by DeGales team. It ties the belt up away from Groves who I think deserved the win over DeGale.

easy say what you see a bit like catch phrase and i see an english promoter gets an english fighter, who just lost his british title a shot at the european ,before an english fighter who won the commanwealth and british title making him a winner but last in line so yeah i just thought i would drag it along like :yep

You're a good judge generally, but you're just wrong here. DeGale's work was largely sloppy, he rarely landed on anything other than Groves' arms. They were shoe-shine flurries that did no damage. The only damage DeGale did was when he led with his massive forehead.

Groves' shots were a lot more solid – some of his bodywork in the last round got DeGale backing off. There was a reason DeGale was so useless – it was because of Groves.

I don't have a problem with a draw, but DeGale didn't really deserve a decision – it's nothing to do with the fact people don't like him. He lost seven of the twelve rounds – they might have been close rounds, but it was a fair decision.

And DeGale's a blown-up hype job anyway. But I am glad they're just carrying on – why worry about a loss to a guy who's on the same level as you – it wasn't like he got splattered.

Yeh. If its in Liverpool you could have the Smith borthers in to.

    Say the Echo Arena.

8pm - Frankie Gavin vs Michael Jennings (British Welterweight eliminator)
9pm - Paul Smith vs Patrick Mendy (British Middleweight eliminator)
10pm - Piotr Wilczewski vs James DeGale (European Super Middleweight)
11pm - Stephen Smith vs Martin Lindsay (British & Commonwealth Featherweight)
12pm - Kevin Mitchell vs John Murray II (Vacant Interim WBO Lightweight)
1am - Nathan Cleverly vs Tony Bellew (WBO Light Heavyweight)

    then to Vegas

2am - Jorge Linares vs Antonio DeMarco (Vacant WBC Lightweight)
3am - Erik Morales vs Anthony Crolla (10x3 Light Welterweight)
4am - Saul Alvarez vs Alfonso Gomez (WBC Light Middleweight)
5am - Victor Ortiz vs Floyd Mayweather Jnr (WBC Welterweight)

    £15 well spent.
