DeGale fighting Dilks - British title eliminator

TBF, most thought Dilks beat Adamu in their fight.

 

It was hard to pick a winner in that fight.

Really a draw would have been fair, they were both crap.

DeGale will stop him in about five rounds if he is on his game..... though he might carry him for a bit longer before putting him out of his misery.

 

Would like to see Degale fight someone that is a threat and see what he is about

 

Beating Dilks would put him on a par with Groves so its the right move to make really should be interesting to see DeGale if he steps up against a better opponent less lazy boxing and showboating this may give him a chance to showwhat he is really about

 

Also dont forget winning by oponent falling out of the ring like Kermit did.

 

Also Dilks could knock De Gale out in rd 1 , but De Gale wins as later on Dilks is found to fail a drugs test.

 

Nope, I don't think De Gale would get the win in those circumstances. Not sure though but I don't think they reverse the result...probably a No Contest.

Dilks is a class below, nice lad though hope he comes out with pride intact and i'm sure he will.

 

I'd give DeGale a lot of credit for fighting in an eliminator in his 8th fight and for the British title in his 9th fight. That is EXACTLY what our prospects should be doing. I'd also be glad to see Gavin fight for the Midland, English the British in his 8th, 9th and 10th fight.

Glad to see Frank finally treating his prospects like genuine prospects...

...that is if he actually makes them fight what I listed above.

 

I think Degale makes him look foolish for the duration of the bout, put Degale in with someone who tries and he will look a whole lot better as he wont have to force his work.
