Degale will never go near the British title by the looks of things and may go the same way as Khan as Warren looks to move him on at a similar rate to Groves whilst avoiding him. With Groves's sights looking set on all the domestic titles. Degale and Groves must be on a collision course within the next few years.

DeGale has faced better opponents than Groves so far. Groves has got a great chance of winning the Commonwealth title against Adamu but I can not see DeGale being too interested of fighting for that right now.

The main thing is that he is on the card, even though I'm not all that fussed for him.

I/C titles only really **** me off when they are being used to take shortcuts - I don't see him going for this title as a shortcut around anything. Warren won't want to stick him in with Paul Smith right now....

It's for the lesser Euro title isn't it? :think

Still, I had a little watch of Vitu the other day and he seems to be a come-forward fighter so it should be a good fight while it lasts :yep

Hall is not a bad fighter but does not have the tools to go further than European level, he does punch hard but that is not enough on the world stage.

FFS, i dont mind if he, jeffries, groves dont fight till world level but if he avoids british route then ill lose a fair bit of respect. i get the feeling degale is in boxing to make money only, and not so fussed about a legacy. thats his choice and his prerogative but not the way i'd like to see him do it. i think he's doing alright, still slaps a bit too much but only because hes been an amateur so long

I have to disagree with that,Paul Samuals is more dangerous then anyone Degale has fought.
Degale would of been better having an 8 rounder against King, then the 4 round slapping which happened.I do agree with you that Groves has a great chance against Adamu.

I'm just glad kids like Degale and Andrade have moved up in rounds.

I remember thinking the definition of suicide is to actually accept a 4 round fight against these young studs who have nothing to fear in getting gassed. So you are basically fighting a 6'1" destroyer that throws every punch in the book at you and has an Olympian pedigree to boot. Get these kids up to 8 rounds before they kill someone. Lol

Big fan, hope he does it and gets things back on track. He's better than he showed against Small.

I have never seen a problem when boxers go that way in their careers, legacy is only for pub talk and doesnt buy you nice things.
