    old news. who cares.

    groves came out and said as much: Froch nailed him, he went down. he got back up, he kept sparring.
    Hard hitting elite world champion puts down rookie of less than 2 years in sparring shocker!

    Yep..... this is old news.

    It's hardly surprising, a novice with about half a dozen fights against one of the best fighters in the world.

    Would be interesting to see how DeGale would have fared at the same time.....

    Interesting to see this thread turned up after the video about DeGale was posted on here. I doubt its a coinscidence. You would expect Froch to school Groves, he is one of the best p4p boxers in the world while Groves is still a novice.

    Not a good look really! But i could imagine Froch being a horrible **** in sparring, not letting nobody try anything.

    Froch is ruthless in sparring, I've heard from various people.. Can't really blame him, this is boxing, Eubank was exactly the same...

    I wonder does that affect the rate sparring partners get as in would they get more for sparring a guy who likes tough aggresive sparring than they would against a guy who takes it easier?

    @JamesDegale_ should be more concerned about how hard @StGeorgeGroves hits! He is badly mistaken if he thinks this fight is a formality.
