Tony it's shame he hasn't jumped ship with you to Matchroom, everyone knows matchroom's the future of british boxing. ol fish eyes is the british "don king" and i bet ur glad to be rid of him. you keep doin what your doin mate you'll get there soon enough. future world champ!

i'm pretty much the same mate, his playground bully antics in the groves build up done him no favours and i do think he's learnt his lesson, but only time will tell. he does make me laugh tho with some of the stuff he comes out with:yep

I think there has to be a few promoters ont he go for a bit of healthy competition, Hennessey is great because of the exposure and ive got nothing but respect for Matchroom because of the profile they give their fights.

Keep on training in that Swelter sweat suit Tony, you are going places!

What Bellew is saying about DeGale isn't surprising. It's been said by most people who know DeGale. But the general perception of him is terrible. No wonder he wants to leave his manager/promoter.

I remember when you were first breaking onto TV Sky seemed to want to paint you as the3 exciting but cocky tw*t character but then i'd come on here and read you well balanced honest posts and realise that wasn't the real Tony Bellew

I don't know if I'm just weird, but groves personality irks me more than Degale. I think degale was just talking to build the fight and that's nothin unusual we've seen 101 guys do that, and he paid tribute to the armed forces in his ring walk and shorts he wore. I don't know what it is about groves but he sometimes come across a tryning to be witty, but just isn't

Coppoben, Bellews fist wont come through the pc and hit you, truth is Hearn must be good when he gets a cruiserweight sized l/heavy a fight with a worn out m/weight and a world tag to boot,. I hope he wins, Bellew can be exciting to watch, BUT,like a lot more i can think of, the world title bit is pure ****.:think;)

I agree, but in my eyes as boxing personalities(not as people, I dont know them personally) their both arrogant twats. same goes for a lot of fighters.

Its for a Silver or International title, NOT world's honours.

They save the REAL titles for fights like Cleverly-Karpency.

Oh dear does DeGale really want to go down the interminable route to world level that Fat Mick plotted for Froch?? If so, half a dozen years of fighting less frequently than Mayweather in Britain's finest leisure centres awaits.

hennessy is different as a promoter at the mo, he's done well by his fighters recently. Galahad, Fury, Eubank Jr. You could say ury's had soft touches, but in general he's done better than some if his counterparts elsewhere
