Groves had no trouble in disposing of Smith in 2 rounds. I thought Smith would do better than that.

I wonder when the big rematch is going to be

Degale is going to get rushed and recieve another loss you can bank on it. Groves is in a level headed team and knows that he has flaws and needs to improve instead of jumping in to big fights.

Therefore once this happens, there will be no need for a rematch as Groves won't need Degale. If my prediction is wrong and Degale does carry on racking up the wins, then I feel W/arren will wait for as long as possible so that the fight can be as big as possible ££££ wise and they'll be back in with each other once again.

I still think Degale won the first by a point, and I think he could beat him again. It's funny how before they fought I thought Groves wasn't ready for Degale and now it seems Degale is the one that needs to have a few more fights before Groves. His timing is off, he's not starting quick enough, and he really needs to. He needs to make Groves box his fight, it's laughable that George could box off the backfoot and make Degale come to him, he's not got the greatest ring IQ, or the greatest trainer, but he has the skills.

Groves would knock him out next time. Doubt there will be a next time though.

I wouldnt start over hyping Groves just yet. He is heavier handed than i thought he was but Degale hurt him more than he was hurt in their fight.

Degale is getting a lot of experience with the Wilcewski fight and I think with a fight or two he can mature into a fantastic fighter.

Groves impressed me tonight and I hope he also develops well but I think people will need to see this rematch as the first fight didnt give a clear winner and Groves and his team know that, I had it degale 115-113.

Degale has the tools to give Groves fits, the problem with James is that he doesnt have that killer instinct to push the button at the right time.

Like I said the rematch will be interesting

Agreed. There's no disparity in quality between George Groves and James DeGale. The first fight was close and debatable, and a possible rematch would more than likely be a similar story.

I don't wanna see a rematch any time soon. They are both still in the early stages of their careers and there is nothing to gain for either fighter just yet...

A rematch further down the line once they've got a few big wins and a lot more experience behind them is what's needed IMO.

Booth stated he wants Groves to fight other styles and improve, and if the DeGale fight happens, it happens.

I cant see it happening until 2013 at least if the dark lord has his way, frank seems a bit more keen to get it on.

I heard the frank only has UK right to Groves so as soon as he goes world Class frank wont get a penny, I think thats why hes in a rush to get the fight made ( and you know hes going to wire it so Degale wins this time )

I will be the first to say after Degale-Grove's first fight I thought Degale would beat Grove's easy in a rematch but now after seeing Degale fight a couple weeks ago and seeing Grove's fight last night I don't like Degale's chance's, so if I where Jame's Degale
I would not be in a hury for that rematch and I am a fan of Degale.

I don't want to see this fight for atleast another 18 months. No point in it happening now, Groves is simply the better fighter IMO.
