Andre's quickness and straight punches will be a problem for Degale. Degale is kind of sloppy and loops his punches and isn't very quick. And he doesn't have much of a jab. Andre does get ****y in there at times and makes mistakes and he fights relatively flat footed and in the pocket but I still expect Dirrell to win a UD.

Degale is better than Froch, on points and rounds he did better than Froch, obviously Froch overall did better because of the knock outs but then again Groves was willing to engage more.

Its a good 50/50 fight but for some reason this forum just doesnt rate De Gale.

Hope to see him do the business

Derek Edwards is a very big puncher...whats your point?

He had Korobov on ***** street(much worse than Dirrell) in the very first round.

He stopped Jack cold in the first round.

To be honest, not seen much of Dirrell's last few fights.

The Dirrell of the Froch/Abraham fights I'd favour over Degale, maybe like 60/40 for his speed and elusiveness. Heard people suggesting though that the Abraham DQ punch seems to have permanently cracked his already not amazing chin?

People here are sleeping on Degale though, he is a technically good boxer with decent speed and pop.

Dirrell will box on the back foot the whole night. I hope degale has learned from the groves fight to cut the ring off better rather than chase him around the ring. They both have great skills so could be a close fight which dirrell will get decision. Degale needs to dominate to win

Both are talented boxers. Neither have suspect chins, although Dirrell was badly wobbled by Edwards in that last round. He came through it though.

The outcome is finely balanced, as both are decent fighters. I have a feeling it will be a cagey, technical boxing match that goes to a decision though. Not a good spectacle.

DeGale win for me, since his operation to sort a long term injury and signing with Matchroom he's been a different animal.

    :patsch

Do you base all your predictions using the highly flawed common opponent triangulation ?

What about the possibility that both Degale and Groves have improved since they fought ?

Its sometimes better to think about what you're going to type before tapping the keyboard.

I'm not sold on Degale, in fact i'm amazed just how highly people rate him. Not sure where he got the reputation as a murderous puncher either ?

Dirrell was/is a very talented fighter with good pop, but his supposed injury, long lay off and mediocre performances of late have me thinking he's slipped.

With both at their best i'd have to go with Dirrell by UD possibly TKO.

Not sure whats going to happen in this fight though.

Degale has EVERY chance to beat Dirrell. Stupid thread.
Degale has been beating top 10 SMW while Dirrell has
been struggling with club fighters. I can't see any other
outcome than a UD for the brit, and i've never been high
    on Degale.

Degale would easily beat Froch now. Obviously the triangle theory doesn't work, but I was just giving an example you moron. Degale beats Froch 9/10 times, and I|'d be willing to put money or an account on the line for that.
