Well that's true but does anyone else think that Bute to win at 4/1 and 9/1 for KO/TKO are good odds ?

Thanks for getting back with me. You live in a beautiful city. Is it close to L'Hotel Frontenac or off of the Plains of Abraham? I walked all over the downtown area and did not see a venue that I thought could hold several thousand people.

I don't see the likenesses of the fights at all, other than Degale, being the younger fighter taking on the older fighter.

Pavlik was coming up in eeight against a far, far more proven fighter in Hopkins. While Hopkins had lost, he had not been crushed the way Bute was by Froch, and never seemingly recovered. He might win though, and it would be a great win.

Sure he's following the money but you still have to respect him going to an opponents back yard in his first defence of the title. Froch did the same in his first defence and he was able to build himself into a marquee fighter, seems like DeGale wants to follow the same path rather than just stay at home and make multiple easy defences against nobodies.

Agreed. Degale does not seem short on confidence or nads. Win or lose, I'm hoping Bute can recall some of the old magic and give us a great fight.

I expect Bute to ko Degale. The only way Bute loses is if he sufferered in making 168.:smoke

He weighed in at 167,2 so he did not have any weight problem. No excuse. He also said he had no injury at all so no excuse there neither.

Bute is free injury, in a great shape his team said he was two weeks ago 172 and they were feeling like they hold a race horse that was ready to go from going, now comes at weight in at 167,2. Over all that Bute promised he will give his best in the ring for this fight. All that being said there will be no excuses for this fight. I really have a good feeling Bute won;t be needing those excuses, we might be hearing them coming from Degale.
