Degale is the truth, I see why Froch is running scared.

DeGale is a gun, he would beat Ward, he has the quickness of hand and foot to catch Ward before being hugged to death. Just fight somewhere outside of Oakland and Chunky would get the job done.

I'd rather see Froch against Golovkin or Chavez Jr but DeGale is a deserving opponent and would make a good domestic clash.

Personally I have not been overly impressed with DeGale. He seems a bit sloppy sometimes and appears flat footed, just walking into opponents. I would have Froch as a clear favourite over DeGale.

 

i thought calzaghes problem was that he kept fighting mandatorys instead of other big name fighters?

 

I think Froch wins. It would be a different fight to the Groves fight. I actually think Degale won the fight against Groves but I think Froch is just a bit to strong and experienced.

 

wbo wassen arranged mandos against largely domestic level weaklings, yes.

having said that he also defended the ibf title once v the decent contender bika, and the wbo one against the not bad but not good lacy, against a faded exchamp reid, and 2 or 3 end of career ex champs. so if the vast majority were weaklings, there were still a few decent to very good ones there.

all in all a welsh legend for sure. but now back to froch and degale.
