No, Estrada is pretty well known for getting himself DQ'd in half the major tournaments he used to be in. He just somehow put it together at the Olympic Trials. Danny Jacobs was probably better than him; but somehow lost to him at the Trials.

 

Danny Jacobs would have medalled, I have no doubt.

 

So would Rua'shee Warren.

 

He went out fair and square in my opinion, he has only himself to blame.

 

Thats my point. He was a dead cert gold before the competition and so was Frankie Gavin but things do not always go to plan. Jacobs has talent but not enough to get him where he wanted.

 

Any chance tomorrow guys against the highly rated Kazak? Havent really been able to follow much of the boxing at all.

 

degale seems to rely on his opponent making mistakes -
i think the kazak will be too technically good and composed for him.

I don't know, Danny got annihilated by Matvei Korobov a few years back but it's possible with more experience and international training and competition he could have done really well. He was a lot less wild than Shawn can be.
