Billy Joe Saunders and Frank Buglioni are the only prospects Frank is doing well by though and Bradley Skeete for some unknown reason? Other than that he is ruining careers not helping them.
Skeete sells tickets that's why Bill, Takes a few hundred at the least. His style won't be earning him many more fans though.
It would be a decent signing for Henessey but he isn't that marketable now on these shores- he needs to go the US and hone his skills. I think the Groves fight was pivotal in the his career- before that fight he was looking like a decent prospect but now he just looks like a fighter who isn't interested half the time. If he wins a world title (doable in my opinion within a couple of years) then I suspect Hearn would come into co-promote him along with TMT.
Yeah i think he's one of those lads who got about as a youngster and he knows plenty of lads and girls and they all love the ''i know a boxer'' stuff. The Earlsfield boxers normally have a fair following anyways same with Ricky Boylan who's with Mickey Helliet. There's so many talented lads who don't shift tickets cos there dedicated and quiet fella's and they sadly in this present climate don't get the progression they deserve.
Yeah it is a shame, because of the money involved with the sport talent sometimes play's second fiddle to popularity, it's totally wrong but it's how the game works I suppose. It gives the totally wrong impression to up and coming fighters and its probably a bit disheartening for them, basically talent is not quite enough.
Exactly Bill, If you don't sell tickets you basically have to fight for your life or be extremely patient for openings.
Frank has lost it abit recently seems funny as he never had any trouble in the past making fights getting venues ..
Might be a good fit, to build hisprofile to the widest audience with the Olympic gold medal winner. Still like to see him with Eddie though and switch coaches.
