You can't knock DeGale. He has beaten some of the division's top dogs in the past few years. He was eventually going to have to fight a mandatory. After this I hope he is given the shot to unify against Jack.
I don't really like DeGale, but in fairness he's taken on some tough fights recently. I wouldn't begrudge him and easy night.
After this Degale needs to face.. Abraham, Jack, Chudinov, Murray or Callum Smith. Callum Smith would wipe the floor with him
I thought his mandatory was ill and this guy got the nod? Maybe the other fighters have fights already signed for? Sometimes these kind of guys can be worse, Degale could maybe take him lightly and this will be the guys 1 big chance. I think Degale beats him easily and moves on to fight in a unification fight.
Mexicans have many fighters in the middle and higher weights. But 99.999% are completely useless so I expect this guy to be a bum. Hes been knocked out 3 times

Shame for Degale really. His career hasn't really kicked into high gear despite taking on and beating some decent opposition. Needs a big name to really bring him in to the lime light again. He would probably prefer to be on the undercard of AJ just get some exposure on SKY. Media just looks like a trial horse but he has a bit of pop which might make things interesting for a round or 2
