Depends what Froch has left. Only he'll know for sure. Style wise I think he could really punish Degale's laziness on the ropes so I'd pick him to win but it's an exciting fight for sure.
Seeing as how badly Degale was gassing vs Dirrell, I can see Froch coming back and pummeling him to a late TKO stoppage.
Froch wants nothing to do with DeGale, he vacated his belt rather than fight him. It's easy to sit there and say "I could come back and beat DeGale" when you have no intention of actually doing it.
Yeah whatever, the same degale that went life and death with direll and was gassing half way through the fight, is going to give froch sleepless nights over a come back? The same Degale that has never beaten George fcking groves? Froch ruins Degale every night of the week
Degale would outpoint Froch 8-4 type score, i hope froch comes out of retirement to pass the torch down to a future UK star.
Froch has never been number 1 in the SMW division, always had somebody ahead of him. Anybody else thinking now Ward has moved up Froch wants to make a comeback to try and claim the number 1 spot?
Chunky is developing big mouth disease now that froch is retired. He knows full well northern basted Froch would kill soft London boy if he was still around, just like the last cheeky cokneys face was destroyed.
Exactly this. Froch struggles with movers and even a half asleep Degale defends himself better than Taylor. Degale needs a signature win against a world class fighter who has had mtutiple titles. Froch would be easy picking.
Degale is made to order like a bad plate of lasagna that's falling apart. You hear it's good but once you see it, it's none too impressive. Froch gets a small taste if this ill presented plate & tears through Degsana like a ravenous hobo once he gets a small taste.
The same Dirrell that many people thought beat Froch. The same DeGale that Froch chose to give up his title rather than face. DeGale most likely beats Froch and Froch knows it, hence Froch vacating his title instead of actually giving him this beating rather than just talking about it from the safety of retirement.
