London (8, February 2013) Mick Hennessy has announced today that he will be promoting a night of championship boxing at Glow, Bluewater on Saturday 23rd March. Headlining the event will be the 2008 Olympic Gold Medallist James DeGale MBE who will be defending his WBC Silver belt. Supporting James at Glow will be middleweight sensation Chris Eubank Jr. James DeGale said Im excited to be boxing at Glow again, it was a tremendous atmosphere for my last fight and its a great venue to headline at. This year is going to be a big year for me, Im looking to be the first ever British Olympic Gold Medallist who goes on and wins a professional world title. Details on James world-class opponent and the undercard will be announced in the coming days. I have it on good authority that his opponent will be Brian Magee! Good choice of opponent. Magee is a good choice of opponent. He's a good fighter, beating him would be a good way for Degale to prove himself. Should be an evenly matched fight too. I could see Magee been able to beat Degale.
