Yeh that 90second interval happened the next round i think. 2nd round interval 90second, 3rd round interval another although it may of been a bit less than 90seconds, but it was definitely longer than 60.

id love to see it again, dirrell cant get away with any flash stuff and he learned tht the hard way by round 4, next time he wont be taking any chances. degale also never went all out because he was leading most of the night. 50 50 could be another good fight

First fight stunk, lots of holding and posing, they averaged less than 10 power punches landed per round and degale coasted big time and never pressed Dirrel the round after the 10-7 round to see if he could end it

probably another close fight but it would be nice to see some exchanges and competitive rounds

There is no reason to think DeGale wouldn't win a rematch. DeGale won the fight on the scorecards, not by the end of the fight but by the end of the 6th round. From that point on Dirrell needed a KO or at least a KD to outpoint DeGale. As such DeGale adjusted and didn't give Dirrell what he needed. If there were no knock downs DeGale would fight differently and still win.

This is the reason I'd favor him over Groves if they meet again as well. When Groves fought Froch the first time, he was leading on the cards, all he needed to do was edge another round and survive till the final bell. But he couldn't keep his calm and got knocked out like an utter idiot. DeGale avoided that and won. He was technical and athletic before, but now he is experienced and smart too, which places him at the top of the division unless Ward continues to rally in SMW and beats him.

Dirrell had him figured out and won the fight if it wasn't for the knockdowns. I'd comfortably put my money on Dirrell.
