my thoughts exactly bud, not seen Degale work a good jab in his fights for years now well since the surgery anyway. The one thing you need to deal with Degale is a jab, it pretty much nullifies Eubank. ANYONE and I mean ANYONE who has a decent jab and decent feet beats CEJ. Its as simple as that most fighters know that, hence the responses you get from the fighters out there that have these ie groves and BJS they laughed him off as being awful and useless and a level below simply because they had a jab and decent feet and would be easy work.

Apparently, Junior has managed to upset the president of the WBC who has personally moved Yildrim above Junior in the WBC rankings, and will now fight Dirrell for the vacant belt as Benavidez is champion in recess.

Seem that Jr refused to fight Dirrell so Yildirim was asked instead.

More money in the degale fight.

Dirrel has a jab and feet, prob the first thing most boxers are taught. I said it before, If you have a decent jab, decent feet then I would favour you against CEJ. Not worldclass feet or jabs just decent.

A draw for me is not a career defining fight if you are a world champion or aiming to be in and around world level.

Lol rubbish, Groves has an elite jab and feet and he still had to hold on for dear life.
BJS was in the same boat and he didn't even beat Jr in mine and a lot of other peoples opinions.

You need to be a lot better than decent to beat Jr

You said a great performance, not the result. And he fought brilliantly against Jack.

Groves does not have elite footwork, it's certainly not bad but not elite. Loma has elite footwork not groves!

Groves has a very good jab, has good feet and good power. None of them are elite, elite means the best of the best. And groves footwork certainly ain't the best of the best. Its good but far from the best

Good on Fielding for bagging a big pay day. Basically he is being paid to get absolutely wooped and his belt taken.

Saunders was totally out of shape and ran out of steam against a fighter who hardly throw a lunch for the 1st 6 rounds and Groves toyed with him in secind gear. Only time Groves was under pressure was when his shoulder went. Mismatch of a fight, as Groves is far superior.

    Refused, rejected... same difference.

Originally, the WBC ordered Anthony Dirrell to fight Chris Eubank Jr. for the vacant belt. Eubank then rejected the WBC, which prompted the organization to put Avni Yildirim in place of Eubank.

    It never said that though?

When did they order that fight? They never did?

They ordered the fights @ the convention ffs and miraculously Yildirm leap frogged Jr???
