same as you kerzo apart from the 7 for groves. watched it again this morning and had ti exactly the same.

 

Did so many people really score the last two rounds to DeGale? I need to watch those two again...

Yeah my scorecard was pretty much the same but had the last round even. I had it 115-113 Groves.

I did find myself scoring the fight as I thought the judges would at points though, assuming they'd favour degale and then overruling that thought and scoring it as I saw it. The sky commentary got on my tits as well, degale would land a shot and groves would land 2 and they'd say 'that was a good shot from degale.'

Was elated when groves won though.

I was suprised when Degale came back strongly in 11 after that 10th round. He looked beaten in there, didn't like being cut, I think if his trainer hadn't said to him you're in the trenches now, you need to go for it, when he fires at you fire straight back, he would have lost it more widely. But in fairness to him he reacted. The difference between the two though is that Degale needs telling to react like that, George has it in him.

So pleased though, especially after the disrespect from mcdonnell saying george was going to get hurt, he isn't ready for it etc. The funny thing was him and Degale genuinely believed it...

I might have had rounds 7 and 8 the opposite way round - cant remember, but my final scorecard was 116-113 Degale

Do they ever release the judges scorecards to see how they scored each round?

 

jim watts card always favours warrens fighters, i thought the result was fair and honest well done groves lad comisarations to defale the gold medal should of been on the line as well imo

 

Spot on. Worst I had was a draw.

 

I'd rewatch that fight If I were you mate.
