Tremendous 50/50 fight on the undercard. I think Gonzales is a very good fighter and could cause Degale all sorts of trouble. How does everyone see this going?

Never heard of him. Going by bookies best pricing Degale at 2/9 leads me to believe they expect a relatively easy night.

All I know is Gonzales has sparred Andre Ward and Amir Khan and is trained by Virgil Hunter...I've not really been that impressed with DeGale in recent times so if Gonzales is a good fighter I see him causing DeGale quite a few problems.

He's a decent fighter from what I've watched. I watched him vs Ossie Duran where I thought he lost and against Oosthuizen which I thought he just edged.

4/1 is probably a little too big because I do think he will present some problems for Degale but Degale should win.

I've barely seen anything on him.

Degale's been known to get fairly lazy and end up on the ropes, what's this fella like at putting the pressure on?

Seen Gonzales a couple times, didn't impress me on either occasion and thought he was lucky to get the decision on both fights (one of them was the draw against Oosthuizen who was also pants tbf).

Think his record makes him to be a lot better than he is, because if Degale wants to beat Froch or Groves next, he'll need to beat this guy convincingly.

I think Gonzales holds his own in this one but will ultimately get bummed by the judging. He could make Degale look clumsy and take it on points but that would take some doing I think.........

Didn't he fail to make 2008 Olympics only cause of injury or something?

He will be strong for the first 6 and then DeGale will pull away that is my opinion.

Degale wins easily and sets up the fight with Froch, which should be another great fight.

Decent fighter from what I've seen, DeGale should win on points I reckon.
