Degale vs khatchikian discussion

Degale's so awkward in this fight.

 

Finally put him down!

Stoppage with a guy up and 6 seconds left to the bell?

 

He lasted a long time considered how out-matched he looked at the start of the fight. Gotta respect him for that.

 

Khatchikian didn't raise his gloves, and he didn't make any kind of protest at the stoppage.

 

Only caught the last four rounds and thought Degale looked excellent

 

Still though, there was no way he was getting KO'd in the 3 seconds remaining. I think the ref got to 6 before he waved it off, it's not as if he asked him to raise his hands and walk towards him and he refused.

Degale probably would have finished it in the next round (if Khat's corner didn't stop the fight before), but I don't like that ref's are constantly ending fights needlessly like that right before the end of the round. The guy got up, if he didn't want to continue he would have stayed on the floor. That should be intent enough in this case.

Now hopefully we get to see Degale's jaw fly into the crowd after he gets caught by a wild hook from Bika.

 

Degeale looked like a LHW in comparison to Khatch. I am not impressed with Degeale. Bika will KTFO Degeale. Khatch should have stopped him when he had him hurt, but he has no power. Bika does.
