Mick might have an offer from some venue to hold the fight out there. Like in the US where casinos pay the promoters money to hold the fight there.

Doesn't matter. There's a lot of fat cats over there who would like to host/attend any type of 'event' and pay big sums for it. I'm surprised this type of thing doesn't happen in Monaco, Dubai and the like more often. Lots of high rollers with deep pockets, who would pay for and wager on anything to make an evening of it.

There's also a tradition of boxing being held there too. Monte Carlo that is (Monzons second home).

Spot on. I remember Fat Mick banging on about a 'verbal agreement' for AA to fight Froch in England, when any fool knows that to stand a chance legally he should have got it in black and white from the Sauerlands before the S6 started. Feckin amateur.

Yeah, plus the olympic gold appeal would lure enough numbers in, what with it being a tax free haven it makes it ideal for promoters. Same with when Froch was going to fight there as there was no UK TV deal. Maximum profit is all that Mick is after, naturally.

I can see why Mick tries to setup fight there.

Just pleased to see Degale active again.
