    Yesterday before the Dilks fight. Whistles and boo's rang out as he made his way to the ring.

    Hes clearly not very popular here in the UK. Could be his big mouth. He hasnt won over the fans as of yet...

    DeGale vs Groves fight could go a long way to repairing that

    He got a good reception on his fights in London and Liverpool. Think its mainly Birmingham that boos him. If I was there Id boo him too. James ****y Degale

    It's his accent/ the way he talks. He can't help it. He sounds like a tw@t. Also uttering "you know wha I'm saying?" at the end of every sentence doesn't help either. I'm sure when he gets sparked he'll get humbled.

    I don't think the Birmingham fans like him too much. They boo'd him on his professional debut too, to which he gave that memorable quote in the post-fight interview:

    "Iss a luuuuuuurrrrrrning curve, tell'em Frank!"

    :lol:     At least I think it was in that fight. If someone could find a YouTube link, that would be great. I'm struggling to find it.

    british fans don't like him because he comes accross as being like an american. i can forgive him for that, hes an exceptionally talented fighter imo.

    Ya thats what I meant , theonly bad receptions hes got have been in Birmingham. Belfast too but that was on the Rogan UC so it was bound to happen and it wasnt even that bad. He got good receptions in Liverpool and London.
    Also, someone mentioned the hand raising thing..one of the most irritating things ive seen in a while
