Ihave a lot of time for Degale and this prediction could well be right.however I hope Carl is retired in a year, loved his career and doesn't want one fight too many.

Why should we listen to you fibbs you gave froch no chance against GG and was proved wrong. If you have done any boxing at any level you would respect froch. You don't which speaks volumes for me.

degale had better be steered protected because he is just a normal good fighter and HYPE job... if they don't protect him (and they will), he will duly be beat.

    he isn't special.

You still haven't said what you think has changed in the last 12 months that has made you think Chunky beats Froch now?

Degale boxes his head off and wins 120-108.

Degale doesnt have a suspect chin like Groves and anyone who this Froch can outbox Chunky dont know Boxing.

Watch the HBO version of Froch v Groves 2

:blood what has what version of Froch groves 2 you watch got to do with anything... unless your just easily influenced by commentary. His best win is a loss to George Groves. Give me some more insight to how he "Boxes his head off" for 12 rounds without getting slowed down, avoiding the ropes all night while not running in every round and engaging with Froch enough to win a decision. Its a bold prediction your making.

Wouldn't really say Groves has a suspect chin...

Down against Anderson when he was a young lad (21 years old), got straight up then stopped him 2 rounds later. Anderson can bang a bit as well let's not forget.

Then that shot he was hit with by Froch would have sparked a lot of guys out, it was an absolute pearler straight down the pipe right on the button whilst he was also throwing his own shot.

degale is more defensively sound and quicker but switches off even more than groves.
tries that crap impersonation of the shell on the ropes where froch pounds him up, and doesnt have the power of groves anyway.

He has some potential. He needs to keep upping his level of competition though. In the future he could duke it out with Groves again to become the next British #2 SMW in the world then if Ward moves up the #1 spot is up for grabs.

Can deGale beat Froch? Maybe but I think James needs experience with a top level SMW first. He has the tools but lacks experience at the top level, could do with fighting and beating Kessler and Bika type opponents first.
