Apparently could be facing a WBC final eliminator against JCC Jnr in the summer

    Highly doubt that.

He'll be in with Periban, if he wins that he'll be right in line for Bika.

Hennessy lacking tv deals and he won't go on BoxNation, Degale is the forgotten man

There is another Channel Five card in March so he might fight on that.

Dave Coldwell has tweeted it so you never know, might be something in it.

Was hoping Groves would fight Bika if Froch doesn't rematch him, to be honest. Would be good for British boxing if Degale did fight on that C5 card mentioned and get to fight Bika and have the title fight on 5.

If he wins the eliminator then the Bika fight would likely be in the US and therefore not on Channel Five.

If Groves fights Bika and wins, Degale fights Periban and wins... then that will set things up nicely for the rematch.

I recall them showing the Khan fight live against Zab years back in the US, and this one if it did happen would be cheaper for them to air. Not many people would tune in, but they could show the highlights the next day?

Good point. I thought Groves was rated higher with WBO and therefore more likely to face Stieglitz Abraham winner though...either way I think he beats all 3 of them and any champ aside from Ward.

DeGale will lose to JCC jnr, they wont be as generous in the States as they are at home/uk for that shitty negative style

Channel 5 boxing output is likely to be at a minimum in the short term. Richard Desmond is looking to sell 5 and if that's looking likely they'll be keeping all outgoings down until it goes through.

if Degale dropped his demands for what he wants to be paid he could get a deal with Hearn and have a good chance of a sucessful pro career. especially if Groves leaves Hearn.

I agree im pretty sure eddie hearne would love to have chunky on his books, i think eddie could get him right into the picture for a world title shot, although for now they should keep him away from the saint as he would get knocked out badly.
