Sunday in Wythenshawe. 10 rounds for the BBBofC English cruiser title, 1st defense of Jumah. I don't actually know a thing about the undefeated champion, save that last time out he battered veteran fellow southpaw (and 2013 Prizefighter tourney champ) Wadi Camacho into permanent retirement from the ring, on a card I'm not sure was even televised - prior to which Jumah really had never faced a warm body in half a dozen years professionally. Sam Hyde is a relatively more known quantity; he led on all three judges' cards against Riakporhe when stopped late on facial damage. One could argue that Hyde's record sans Riakporhe is equally as barren as Jumah's sans Camacho.
I go to a lot of goodwin shows and saw jumah's fight with camacho ..was an easy night wadi was shot to ****. .it's time for jumah to fulfil his potential (he's no spring chicken)..Steve goodwin lost the purse bid to Gallagher ..he would have had tried for home advantage if he thought jumah needed an edge thus I expect a jumah win and on for a crack at the British !
I think this is a hard one to call , I no a couple of fighters on the undercard, Hyde is just a solid pro imo doesn’t do anything to special . I think jumah is the favourite if I had to call it I would go with him .
Did anybody see this fight? Jumah won by UD. I never got to see it but it was a brilliant fight by all accounts.
Bloody hell, this was tweeted almost two hours ago. This content is protected That means the main event started prior to 5pm local time. Pretty early card, that.
I checked both the YouTube and Facebook pages for M22 Promotions, seems they didn't stream it. So anyone kicking yourself about not realizing it'd be on so early - don't. Moot point, you were never going to be watching it live.
I was looking forward to this Brit Level & CW Level match up and was hoping it was going to be televised so I could enjoy a bit of Sunday afternoon action. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
Sam Hyde was unfortunate with the RR fight to sustain the freak injury he got, cost him the fight he was winning. Now on the wrong end of a super close decision. Clearly a good fighter, hope he continues to get chances on the back of his performances and gets a bit of luck going his way.
British Title Eliminator being held in a school gym or something it looks like, they should go on Love island to boost their careers.... Gutted for Hyde, I hope he can bounce back from the setbacks he's faced so far.
