It's a rather difficult "Head Scratcher " this one, Duran Came right right off the Boil after beating Buchanan... So the Talented Esteban was something of an Ambush waiting to Happen... I do not think that Esteban would have beaten the "Wild Child" that Indeed Pulled something of his own Ambush on Ken... Albeit he might of had That Roberto Down at some stage, as he did in the second fight, I do think it would indeed be a 2-1 result and not a straight sweep... Esteban was Esteban ..and that was it.. usually that was all he needed to be, Good Boxer, Good Mover, and Good Puncher... If only it wasnt for the Vastly improving Duran...of course an Educational work-in-Progress that Esteban Himself..Facilitated It would Leave Buchanan of Course... Ken Never did get his Much Deserved Return with Roberto, Estebans initial Spoke causing the Panamanian to go down the Revenge and Rubbermatch Route... Ken Strung some Fine Results together Post Duran, and indeed started to score a few fine Stoppages, so a slowing of speed seem to have its compensations for awhile, But of course, if you were not a Fire and Brimstone breathing Aggressor.. you did risk the prospect of being left a half step and a Tartan Clad Twirl behind .. especially with that added Stopping Power, I think Ken could take Advantage of his Style over Estebans perhaps more Conventional Style to certainly notch up the Initial Meeting.. Esteban did beat the Shifty Ray Lampkin clearly so is not beyond learning lessons himself, so could take the return, as to a decider, With all things being equal , Ken was a Flint hard Dour Scot..Along with his Talent.. as with Duran, he would Thrist for a re-run.. and i dont know if Esteban had that "Cold Weather" determination .. I think Ken Could take a Decider...Especially if he tought it might get him a step nearer "The Kid".. So Buchanan 2-1 for me... but if thinks are dragged out too much..and Ken goes Stale as he was for Guts.. then the Pendulum would swing back Estebans way... so 2-1 to Ken...and all three might be rather close on the scorecards...
