If he was going to fight again, it should be vs. JCCJr or Canelo. A rematch vs. Sturm isn't really a big announcement IMHO.

I honestly think Jnr would beat Sturm at this point as well. The way he struggled with Martin Murray, who is a decent boxer but nothing special - I just think Jnr would outwork him.

Oscar couldn't do anything against Sturm back when Oscar was way closer to his prime than he is today, and Sturm might be slipping, but is probably a better boxer now than he was when he fought Oscar. This would be a slaughter for peanuts. Schaeffer must have convinced Oscar it was a good idea.
