Not necessarily. The Mosley fight had the drama built up from the passed five years. Both guys had been calling each other out. Kind of how some wouldn't buy Manny's fights, wouldn't buy Floyd's fights, but would buy the fight if the two fought each other.

 

Actually Oscar is right. I feel Alvarez is clearly more popular then Mosley. Look at the Mosley vs Mora fight. <<Who the fans in staple center came to see more? Mora vs Mosley? Or Alvarez on the undercard? I know it's Alvarez. Hell the fans was chanting Alvarez name doing like the mid rounds of Mosley vs Mora in which should tell you easily of who's more popular. Lets be realistic, Mosley was never really a big time draw.
