Too bad it's not going to happen. I think Hoya would have taken it though.

Too bad De La Hoya has been making one stupid choice after another the last 12 months. He should have fought Cotto on Cinco De Mayo like the fans wanted. Instead his dumb ass tried to make a rematch with Mayweather for his own selfish gratification, when nobody wanted to see it.

Why not Floyd was the P4P king and Hoya took him to a split decision. Floyd came out looking more roughed up than he did. With the support from Floyd sr. in the rematch and better conditioning he could of had a chance of taking the victory.

Floyd was the one taking on the Past prime Promoter instead of a worthy prime welter champion in Cotto. :-(

That's very ture, Hoya should have made the Cotto fight for Cinco De Mayo. Hoya probably wanted the Floyd fight because it still itch him.

It would have been a good fight, but wouldn't have been a meaningful fight.

I would still like to see that fight, but those on ESB said that Margarito had no chance vs. Cotto and Vlad would be knocked out by Thompson, ask Titty Atl(ass).

Cotto is good but once that vaunted left hook of Oscar lands on Cotto's legendary chin then its ovahhh.
