Cotto gets stronger at the fights goes on . . . while De La Hoya loses steam by 6th or 7th round . . . how could De La Hoya knock the guy out in the 9th?

DLH's best chance is to knock Cotto out in the first five round . . . if he fails then Cotto will walk over him in ther later rounds. I won't be suprised if DLH get knocked out. :yep

 

Cotto would be careful early on and then step on the gas as the fight progressed. His power shots and work to the body would be too much for Oscar at this point, assuming they fought from 147-150. Cotto TKO9

A loss for Oscar would be the end of his career, unless he wants to pick up more losses and get more money.

 

Who cares about DLH! All his big fights have been a let down.
He should do us a favour and retire so never have to see the boxing cross dresser.

 

It's amazing to hear from most ESB fans that Cotto is the better boxer. That is the stupidest thing I ever heard. These same people claimed that there was no way for Cotto to beat Mosley as Mosley was the better boxer, then after the fight, they claimed "well, cotto outboxed him." This is true and it is not. Mosley lost because he wanted to make it a war and did not fall back on his boxing skills till the end of fight and when he reverted to this, the Mosley bounce came into play, he started to hurt Cotto, catching him against the ropes and making him go backwards. Mosley's downfall wasn't that he was outboxed, it is that he himself refused to box until it was too late. Any real unbiased observer would note that if Oscar is not a ****** he would have watched the fight before fighting Cotto and come in as the superior boxer, which he is.
