DLH ran from Trinidad, and Tito Trinidad beat Whitaker, DLH, David Reid, Fernando Vargas, and William Joppy in 3 years.

During that time all Chavez had was a name, he was far removed from his peak.. Not to mention DLH lost half of those fights.

Floyd and Pac are a disgrace when compared to ODLH. Boxing needs someone like him to become the star of the sport. Wish those other two ****ed off.

DLH's credential better than Floyd's and Manny's put together. He didn't duck anyone and took on the toughest challenges, no ifs, ands or buts. Both Floyd and Manny know they didn't fight DLH anywhere near his prime.

Just at welter alone he went up and in 2 years fought top 10 P4Pers Whitaker, unbeaten Quartey (was top 10 before the long layoff after Lopez draw), unbeaten Trinidad.. (when each refused to fight each other in 5 years as champs together in the same division).. and followed that up with unbeaten Mosley which was a lose-lose situation for him (Mosley was condsidered a little man who'd moved up at the time).

Only fighters I can think of today who can match such a run against top calibre opponents are Cotto (in 9 fights/3 years at WW fought prime Pac, prime Margarito, still fresh Mosley, prime Clottey, Judah, unbeaten Quintana)..followed it up with Margarito rematch and unbeaten Mayweather back to back at 154

and Margarito (in 10 fights fought unbeaten prime Cotto, unbeaten prime P.Williams, prime Pac, Mosley, unbeaten prime Cintronx2, prime Clottey who should've been unbeaten)

Oscar beat Tito, but was cheated by split decision by Don King's judges, Oscar beat Mosley two times and beat Void's head back over and over again, yet lost a split decision....................

Great post. Marquez' resume is up there too - Mayweather, Pacquiao x3, Barerra, Casamayor, John, Diaz x2 (once when he was king of division)
