I think Hoya acknowledges he was KO'd by pac but he says Hatton would done it too and sooner and more brutal.

That's not what Oscar said. He didn't say "TOO".

He said "Let's just put it this way, Hatton would've knocked me out", end of quote.

That's the whole thing, he wasn't knocked out by Pac, but he thinks he would've been vs. Hatton. His corner pulled him out vs. Pacquiao.

Knockout is what happened in the Hopkins fight. DLH lost by TKO, corner stoppage, RTD, but not knocked out.

If DLH didn't quit vs Pac, he would have been KOd in the later rounds.

You are grasping here, he was gonna get KO'd anyway, so what if Hatton had KO'd him earlier (we don't even know this, DLH is just bitter)

So then I guess Hoya is saying he wass ok, could have continued, he wasn't in any trouble, but he quit cause he had no heart and felt like "k I lost I quit".

Ah cool, that's worse than getting KO'd.

    And, what's your point?

Mosley vs. Margarito, thank you, the thread title is still misleading, because he didn't say TOO. That's the whole point! :D He said Hatton would've knocked him out, something PacMan failed to do. DLH was stopped by the corner, lost by technical knockout, but what he said is that he would've lost by KNOCKOUT vs. Hatton on that night.

He's hyping the fight anyway, he just never said 'too', so the thread title is wrong.

no your grasping and putting your slant on it. He stated "Hatton would have Knocked me OUT". end of quote .

Oscar believer he could have finished the fight but elected not to take anymore punishment. Oscar has been quoted as saying Pac punches didn't really hurt him , he just could not pull the trigger to catch the much fast pac.

if you want to call Oscar a quitter then go right ahead , duran also quite was in danger of getting KOed or just embarrassed?

Oscar could also be saying this to back up Hatton against the man that beat him, Manny Pacquaio.

No grasping. He was on his way of getting stopped. He didn't cause he quit. This wasn't Duran Leonard. Not even close. Duran quit only due to embarrassment.

I doubt it would have been a brutal KO, just a "you are not doing anything, I'm gonna stop it" by the ref. Just like Vitali vs Peter. That is a KO. Period.

Let's believe everything De La Hoya says. We all know the losers of fights speak nothing but the truth, always. Just like when someone gets stopped by someone, they always say the guys that didn't KO him hit harder :nut.

    Deluded.

I don't really take Oscar seriously. So everything he says is like "Blah, Blah, blah, blah, blah"

But he didnt fight Hatton, he fought Pac because he was a big name and a small guy, he thought he could walk through and got his ass kicked for it. The end.
