So you had him losing to Whitaker, but didn''t score him beating Trinidad or Mosley in their second fight :blood

    You're full of **** Jasper.

    Agreed.

At 35-140 Oscar had a better jab, better speed, better punching technique, better stamina, and was 100% dedicated...

at 154 Oscar was only dedicated 2-3 months (training camp) every 15 months.

good fight i had whitaker winning 115-112, because de la hoya was eating that jab all night, wasnt giving oscar rounds for landing 1 decent right when pea was landing 10 good hard jabs!, thought whitaker controlled the pace of the fight and had oscar hitting air most of the night!

Go watch the fight again.. You'll be surprised how much air Whitaker hit as well.

Don't go based on compubox, base it on actual footage. :deal

i watched the fight just now and very closely aswell, alot of oscars shots were blocked aswell but the jab won the fight for whitiker for me it was easily the most effective tool on show!

Maybe we should have warned you...You need to know how to score a fight before you try to do so.

its all about opinions mate, i could see why people would have scored it for oscar but i just thought he had alot of trouble with pea's jab and that was more effective than oscars aggression(sometimes wreckless), but hey thats what boxing is all about opinions

Wonder where Oscar would have been had he stayed with Alcazar ?

Amazing to have both he and Duva in the corners for this fight ..

I had Whitaker winning. Oscar gave the air a beating, plus he got knocked down.

    DLH squeaked this win.

This is one of those polls that has been done to death and I've never seen
    Pea win one.

    I scored it 113-113.

Pain in the ass to score.

IMO this should go to Whitaker. Oscar shows rather ineffective aggressiveness, and while he throws nice combos he rarely lands anything useful, so it is difficult to score rounds for him. The bottomline is that can't see how anyone can score it 116:110, especially with the knockdown.
