As I've said, in truth they should make Pavlik look avoided because then it makes Hopkins look better. I guess I just don't think Fisher is that coordinated basically.
Agreed. I been subscribed to Ring for few years now, and since the Miranda fight, Pavlik has been a regular for the Cover, articles, interviews, and feature stories. What I don't understand, is that written like a "hater" post on an internet forum (and not by a professional boxing writer) because...it's on the internet??
Like I'd said, I am LONG time subscriber. Personally, don't know how you ****ers do without (if you do), because I can't take my computer to the shitter with me. I keep atleast the last 7 or 8 issues in there, and needless to say, I look at them all the time.:rofl I knew within the first couple sentences of reading that link something was WRONG and didn't "feel" like reading anything by the Ring AT ALL! I don't read the on-line **** much I guess, come here for that. So I don''t know if thier on-line **** reads like "hate" posts by FANS often or not.:yep
Computers are notoriously bad 'page turners' but that is what it is coming too. I guess if the kids grow up with it so that it is natural to them they will be OK with it. Too hard to skim and skip around on an electronic device for my taste. I guess I'm just showing my age though. I hate laptops and my son has pretty much abandoned his desktop computer for one.
All good points, understood and agreed. But what about this article? It's one thing for all of us to type whatever we want, with no repercussions, on a forum behind our computer screens....but somebody putting there name on a "post" (cause that's about all that article was) on a major company's site?? IMO, that mudder ****er Fischer should be facing some consequenses and repercussions over that bull ****.:?
Sounded like it could have been written by Saurland to me. I just took it for what it was. A biased piece of ****.
Pavlik and his management probably would have taken a fight with Abraham after he had beaten Hopkins. Problem was he lost and Hopkins schooled him so easily that they re-assed Pavliks ability at the top tier. After that fight all talk of fighting JC or any other top fighter in or around his weight class stopped. I rate AA highly and have always thought he would have the measure of Pavlik but it would be a very close and exciting fight. Pavlik is still world class but like Froch he relies more on his power and chin then his boxing skills. Not to say either of them are one dimensional plodders though.
Fair assessment, I'd say. I agree AA should be rated highly. BUT, turn this around. Say AA, instead of using his voluntaries on Ayala or Simon etc...took on BERNARD HOPKINS at LHW and lost badly. I think it's safe to assume they'd be re-assessing too.:yep
Only Scar could have written that ****.:yep ****er. The REAL fans of AA surely could admit that article is one sided and biased as hell. Like BodySnatcher, for example.
