    Couple thoughts come to mind:

Out of all the speculation about Berto's next opponent i.e Mosley, Hlatswayo, Aydin, etc., the Collazo rematch is the most reasonable and appropriate fight for Berto on multiple levels.

If this fight comes to fruition where does this leave Mosley?

And although I had Collazo winning by 1 point in their first fight, I'd favor Berto in a rematch. I expect that he'll be better adjusted to the south paw stance of Collazo after facing him once and also fighting Urango.

It seems that the entire WW division is on hold until the Pac vs. Cotto fight. If Pac wins, he'll probably face Mayweather, Berto will fight Mosley, the WBC will probably strip Berto, and Collazo will fight for a vacant title(possibly against Cotto). If Cotto wins, Mayweather probably fights Mosley, Berto fights Collazo, and Cotto takes an interim defense(possibly against Kell Brook).

I favor Berto to win more clearly in the rematch, Berto will make use of the clinch much more to stop Collazo from getting any punches off.

Plus, I think he would have a better idea of what to expect and how best to handle Collazo.

Most of the time, when there is a close decision with many claiming the underdog got robbed, the favorite clearly wins the rematch. Mayweather/Castillo, Paulie Ayala/Bones Adams, are a couple that come to mind. I think the Berto/Collazo will follow that script, and probably Johnson/Dawson, too.

Not sure how this happened when Selcuk Aydin IS the mandatory... Not complaining if they pull this off because it was a fun fight to watch.. But I would think Ahmet Oner would have something to say about it...

I'd rather watch Berto/Aydin than Berto/Collazo2... It's guaranteed fireworks.. Both guys have some pop in their punches..

Hopefully not considering he was penalized 1 point for excessive clinching in their first fight.

I agree I thought Aydin was #1 contender. I like Aydin, his nasty little ****er who can punch. I don't think Berto Callazo 2 would be much different.

What is gonna happen MOST LIKELY is that Collazo will fight Aydin for the WBC interim title and Berto will unify with Mosley.

that he got robbed, he deserves better, no one wants to fight him !!!

    selchuk aydin is wack...

he might be able to slide past berto but he's not (nor will he ever will be) relevant in the bigger picture
