By the time Kelly is able to fight, it will have been over a year. It's eight months since he fought Rubio. Irrespective of the reason, he is still inactive and, once beyond 12 months, he should be stripped.

It's not stupid - it's logical. It's holding the titles to ransom and that's not fair on the other fighters looking for a shot.

Both dummy :blood. It wasn't impressive because its not that hard to outbox Urango. Second he had the weight advantage over Urango. He could have at least knocked him out. Than I would have been impressed. He didn't, he did enough to win. You know what I say to that Booorrrrrriiiiiiinnnngggg!!!!!

You do know Ricky Hatton isn't known as a technical boxer right? Thats all I'm saying.

Meh you can't prove he wasn't shot going in to the fight. I on other hand have two brutal fights as my evidence. One of them ending on a knockout.

Your using this fight as your evidence that Berto has a chance against Mosley. Mosley fought Estrada in his prime and he wasn't shot. Berto fought him when he was shot. Thats my facts and I'm sticking to it. Now prove me wrong boy.

Well those people are idiots and clearly have no clue.

Mosley is gonna destroy Berto if they meet. Mosley needs to man up and fight Paul Williams.

Pavlik will probably be ready to fight by late February or early March, which is no more than a year. Stripping him is just stupid; the belts are there to recognise the best fighter in the division, and putting it up for some pair of cupcakes to scrap over makes absolutely no sense. He will defend his belts as soon as he can; it's not as if he's camping with them. If anyone should be stripped, it should be the likes of Sturm who are hiding from serious competition deliberately.

Let Williams have won that MW title from Pavlik and MAyweather would have giving him a better boxing lesson then Quintana for sure.

Williams should fight for Pavlik's crown Vs. his Mando #1. (Interim)
Willy deserves something for this waste of time he is going thru.

you can't strip a title holder if he is inactive for legitimate medical reasons.

I am pretty sure I would take Mundine any day of the week against Sturm.

If Williams beat Pavlik, i bet my house that Mayweather wouldn't mention Williams name. Same with Mosley who is running away from Williams.

Mayweather won't mention Williams name no matter what... he wants no part of that 6'3 monster of a welterweight.

If Williams fights someone else on Dec 5th and Pavlik is fit to fight again in Feb./March.

You guys think Pavlik might go directly for the Bute fight (if he wins against Andrade)?
