Did Atlas really say that Andrade needs to take baby steps? Or was he saying he DOESN'T need to take baby steps? Only because I find it odd he rails on other prospects for taking beginner fights and passes on Andrade.
I just remember him getting all bent out of shape when guys like Rigo, Danny Jacobs and Wilder were getting soft touches to acclimate them to the pros. Talking about how it was detrimental for these guys to take these sorts of fights.
He actually isn't slow as shown in the 12th round for that stoppage. He took out his opponent, with a decently quick combination of punhces. He just fight's slow sometimes and would look slow to a boxing fan who didn't pay attention like you.
