Angulo imo , leathal power solid chin and youth , hes gonna make some noise , but the biggest difference to me is he seems to get better each time out
Maidana is the better total package by a bit. He's fairly overrated himself ever since the Ortiz fight and the ensuing drama with Khan everywhere-but-inside-the-ring, but he does have the more complete skillset. Angulo is just another Margarito. Maidana can box a bit despite his undeserved reputation with some as a drooling headhunter; and getting outpointed by Kotelnik is more forgivable IMO than getting outpointed by Cintron.
Angulo was sick when he fought cintron ,aauuuugh gag ,wow i almost made a nuthugger statement ,diregard that last statement but he has improved since then he hired a strength and conditioning coach and it showed in his last fight ,also he seemed more patient with his shots
Close but clear, although some on ESB would have you think otherwise (hint: their surnames all have a bit of Hispanic flavor ). It's certainly the better loss than a four-points-across-the-board UD12 to Cintron, as I said earlier. Angulo will fail every time, IMO, when he steps in with fighters skilled and durable enough to be branded at the elite level. Maidana would be competitive with almost anybody at his own weight, although I wouldn't necessarily favor him against most of the top ten.
a question if i may mr butt but who do you see winning a margarito angulo showdown ?boxed ears you too?
who cares about these small guys, NV shits more than 140 pounds in one sitting NV's **** ko1 Miadana and Angulo
It's an interesting proposal. Nobody's really given Perro a dose of his own medicine and applied pressure toe-to-toe for several rounds. Maybe Tsurkan? That's about it. Even big hitters like Cintron and Julio elected to box with him for the most part. Margarito possesses qualities that Tsurkan didn't - his output and his willingness to take it on the chin repeatedly to back foes up and gain the upper hand as a ring general. Angulo will have never seen anything like this before. Having said all that, Angulo is like a younger, fresher, harder-hitting version of Margarito. It will be like staring into a very scary mirror for the Tornado. After the brutal loss to Mosley and being forced to get on his bike against monster puncher (but monstrously slow) Roberto Garcia, it may come as a rude awakening when he tries to freely trade leather with his rookie counterpart. He could find himself sitting square on his glossy "El 7 Mares" embroidery - and looking up through stars and cartoon birdies at a VERY determined quality finisher.
He hasn't been decked by any of his last several opponents, and I sincerely doubt that anyone pre-Gutierrez would have done it, unless it was a flash/off-balance issue.
